Future Tech Enterprise has an opening for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team. This position has a pivotal role in supporting Payroll and HR functions along with ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day HR activities. The HR Generalist is both a strategic and hands-on role that will be instrumental in keeping up with the company's growth.
This is a remote position, with Eastern time zone work hours, M-F, 8:30a – 5:30p.

Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Assist with benefits and 401k administration, including enrollment, changes, inquiries, and communication.
- Oversee the leave administration function, including WC, Disability, PFL and FMLA requests and documentation.
- Work together with the HR Director and legal counsel to develop, review, and enhance HR policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with evolving legal requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, labor regulations, and employment statutes across all states where the company operates.
- Manage PEO vendors and address international HR compliance matters.
- Support HR initiatives in the areas of performance management, employee relations, employee engagement and talent development.
- Conduct internal HR audits and compliance assessments to identify and address areas of risk and non-compliance.
- Maintain meticulous HR documentation and records, including personnel files and compliance-related reports.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports.
- Create ad hoc reports and develop report templates on various platforms.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Research and recommend innovative solutions using apps, software, and platforms to enhance accuracy and efficiency in HR operations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Development
- Five years of progressive experience in Human Resources positions, ideally in a global environment.
- Proficient knowledge of employment laws and practices, including FMLA, EEOC, and FLSA.
- Working knowledge of human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations & awareness, diversity & inclusion, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with payroll and ADP WFN is a plus.
- SHRM certification or equivalent would be a plus.
