IT Support Technician – On-Site | Plainview, NY (Long Island)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a Technician to support our customer with hands-on IT services, including computer installation, maintenance, and general technical support. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Plainview, NY, and includes occasional travel within a five-mile radius.

What You'll Do:

Provide responsive technical support to end users
Install and configure desktop hardware and software
Perform imaging and configuration of desktops
Troubleshoot and set up audiovisual equipment
Run cable diagnostics and basic network testing
Install and support printers
Handle break/fix requests and general IT issues
Assist with other IT-related tasks and special projects as needed

What You Bring:

Prior experience providing technical support in a professional setting
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (local travel required)
Strong customer service skills and a proactive mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
A+ certification (preferred)
Familiarity with Chromebooks and experience in the education field (plus)
All employees are required to pass a background check and fingerprinting process
